Sephora Huge Haul & Reviews

Hey Beauties!!

I was cleaning up my photos on my phone and I found a picture of items I purchased from Sephora but I never did a post on them. Since then I've purchased a few more things so I decided to make a huge haul post.

I had time to use most of the products so I will include some reviews on most of them.

So as I said I've purchased these items a few months ago and I just saw that I didn't do a post on them.

Too Faced - Better Than False Lashes Extreme! C$46.00
I'm not a false lashes kinda girl but I do love the look of false lashes and with this mascara I can achieve that. I did a whole review back in May click here to read it.

Urban Decay- Vice Lipstick C$21.00 each (Naked and Native)

Ciaté London- Mini Paint Pot Nail Polish and Effects C$10.00- $10.50
Razzmatazz dense golden glitter
Antique Brooch dense rose gold glitter with a hind of pink
Amazing Gracie ballet slipper pink

Tart Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush C$35.00 (Exposed nude)

DOLCE&GABBANA- Desire by Dolce&Gabbana C$98.00

I also received a bag full of perfume samples, which is one of my favorite ways of trying out higher end brand perfumes for free. At the time of this purchase it was a promo which Sephora always has so lookout for the next one. I think the best way to stay on top of their promos is by signing up and you can receive all their deals and promos when you purchase something online. Unfortunately the promos they usually give out are for online purchases so that is the only way you could receive some freebies.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in NUDE
Travel size 1.0z $26.00
Full size C$56.00

I was at the checkout line at Sephora and I saw the travel size Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer and bought it to try. I bought it in Nude because that’s all they had in the travel size packaging. I was happy it matched my skin tone and it applied flawlessly. I basically use this instead of a BB Cream or Foundation when I’m just running for errands or when I’m in a rush and only have like 10 min to get ready. I find for me it give the perfect coverage that I want and looks very natural.

Urban Decay- Vice Lipstick C$21.00 (Backtalk)

Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipstick C$25.00 (Melted Chihuahua "melted mauve")
I got my makeup done by a girl that worked at Sephora and she used this color on me and I absolutely loved it. I own two other shades from this line but I really love mauve tones and this is the perfect mauve. It’s very moisturizing and not drying at all but I do add a gloss on top because I prefer a glossy finish but applied alone is gorgeous as well.

Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter Honeysuckle Vanilla
Travel Size 2oz C$15.00
Standard size 8oz C$43.00

I had purchased the travel size of this that I had to buy the full size because its soo moisturizing and smells soo good. It’s perfect for those dry patches and it feels soo luxurious. It’s mixed with avocado oil, shea butter and white tea extract to nourish your skin with essential nutrients.

MAISON MARGIELA 'REPLICA' Beach Walk Rollerball C$30.00
(Beach Walk combines fresh and radiant notes of bergamot, coconut milk, lemon, pink pepper, and musk to evoke a familiar but forgotten moment—a walk along a sandy beach.) I actually bought this because Allie Sevdalis on Youtube says this is one of her favorite perfumes and it sounded like a scent I would enjoy.

SMASHBOX Iconic Photo Finish Foundation Primer C$20.00
I wanted to try this for a while and when I saw it at the checkout line with the other goodies there I decided to give it a try. I yet to try it but I will open it soon and add it to my next products review blog post.

Complimentary Welcome Kit
I reached the VIB Rouge level and this was my Complimentary Welcome Kit which included my card and a NARS travel size blush in Goulue. It’s a pretty pinky mauve with a hint of sparkle it’s really pretty. It’s actually my first NARS blush and I’m super happy I got a color that suits me.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and until next time.

Keep smiling

Sephora Haul ;)

Hey Beauties,

I recently went to Sephora and picked a few things I've been wanting try. I still haven't tested them all out yet so I will be doing a review later on so look out for that post.

I wanted to try the Benefit tanning lotion but as the beauty junkie I am I ended up adding other products to my bag, I think I spent half an hour there looking at all the products seeing what's new and what's on sale. I don't know about you ladies but I could spend all day in there if I could lol

So as I said I went into Sephora to buy the Benefit Hoola Tanning Lotion as well as some other products that have been on my "Love list". I wanted to try these two products for my hair but unfortunately they were only available online. As the beauty junkie I am I had to add a few more items to my bag but they were on my list to buy in the future.

I've added pictures of all the items I bought except for the ones I bought online because I haven't received them yet.

Benefit Cosmetics: Hoola Zero Tanlines Body Bronzer

This is the main reason why I went to Sephora because I heard soo many good reviews about it and I love there Hoola Bronzer. The packaging is what caught my attention, its something that I wanted displayed on my vanity.
I know I'm probably late to try it but I've been using two self-tanners which I've been loving but I wanted to try an instant bronzer. I've been loving the "Loving Tan" which is best-seller but it takes a while for it to work. These products are obviously different because one is a self-tanner and and the other is a instant bronzer but both give a glowing effect. From what I read if you love the Hoola bronzer you will definitely love this one.

I will definitely have to try and do a review on it as well a comparison to my other two self-tanners.

Tarte: Drink of H20 Hydrating Boost

I got a deluxe sample of the Tarte kit which this was included. I found it worked so well with my skin I didn't breakout or had any bad reaction to it. I tend to have combination skin but more dry in the winter so this definitely will help. It's very lightweight and feels so nice on the skin, it has like a cooling sensation. I use it as a primer right before I apply my makeup and I find it makes my foundation go on more smoother. I also like that I don't get any flaky patches around my nose area.
I was debating if to buy it because it was C$47, I know there's much cheaper alternatives but I was there, it worked well on my skin and it looked cute just sitting on the shelf so I had to buy it.

Urban Decay Lipner in Rush

This has been on my "Love List" for a long time but I was hesitating because of the price but I finally bought it. I don't own many liners because I'm not a huge liner fan I'm just getting into it now. All my liners are from the drugstore so this is my first brand lip liner.

I have two Urban Decay lipsticks "Naked" and "Native" which will pair very well. The liner is in "Rush" it's a pink/mauve and its C$24. I also purchased "Native" a pale pink but that was part of my online order. I tested it on my hand and just like their eye liners they glide soo smoothly, you don't even have to put much pressure.

Caudalie Face Kit (Beauty Insider 500 Gift)

I had 1,600 points so I decided to use them finally they never have any good gifts so I keep accumulating my points. I wanted something for 250 but they ran out of some the items so I decided to get this one for 500 points. The kit included face products and right now I'm testing out different face products so it was perfect.

The kit includes 4 items and which order to do them if you want a beauty routine.
Step 1 Detox Mask
Step 2 Cleansing
Step 3 Treat
Step 4 Moisturize

Detox Mask

Apply a thin layer on dry skin and leave on for 10 min and then rinse.

Miscellar Cleansing Water

Use to remove makeup and cleanse face and you don't need to rinse.

Beauty Elixir

A spray that you can use on your face, neck and body. They suggest to use before applying your makeup and in between  your foundation and powder to set perfectly.

Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet

Apply this morning and night on a clean cleansed face.

Other Products

I did some re-purchases that I needed such as Makeup Forever Foundation (Y255) and Ciate mini nail polish in "Amazing Gracie".

Online Order

I wanted a shampoo for dry damaged hair but also to have natural ingredients. I found one from "Earth's Nectar" unfortunately the only way I could purchase it was online. It's made with Mint Leaves and Tea Tree which is great for dry hair and it was organic. I can't wait to receive it to try it out and do a review on it.

I also purchased the "Urban Decay Lip liner" in Native because I wanted to pair it with the lipstick I have. The last thing I purchased was the "Ciate" nail polish from the Olivia Palermo in Sundays. I've been wanting this color for a long time because it's such a pretty pale pink that you can wear everyday.

When I get my order in the mail I will do an update as well as a review on most of the products and let you guys know if they are worth buying or not.

Until next time
Kisses

Lip Favorites

Hey Beauties,

Happy Weekend! Hope everyone is enjoyed their week, it's finally the weekend :) Ever since the season has changed and its become hot I haven't been in the mood to do a full face of makeup. Instead of using a heavy foundation I've switched it up and been using BB Creams. I find its much lighter on the face and my face can still breathe. To finish my simple look I add a bit of bronzer, eyeliner, mascara and a bit of lipstick and occasionally blush.

When it comes to lips I like the natural look and I've fell in love with the Annabelle Lipliner in Buff. I was never the type to use lip liners but I was in the mood of trying new products and I decided to pick this up. I've tried her eyeliners and I really enjoy them, they glide on soo smoothly and they are really pigmented.

The colors I go for are more nude/pink and this is the perfect combination but has more of brown undertones. Just like the eyeliners it glides on your lips perfectly. I'm someone with small lips and this gives the illusion of fuller and plumped lips which is what I need. Even though its not waterproof it does last all day you may have to re-touch it once but I never had to.

I like to not only line my lips with it but fill in my lips as well it helps give my lips some color. Sometimes I just wear the lip liner as is and don't add anything on top and other times I use either a lipstick or lip gloss. I have 7 different combinations that I like to switch up from time to time which I will list below as well give you some options if you decide to try this liner. I have a few drugstore products as well as brand name ones.

Lipglosses

  1. Gerard Cosmetics Lipgloss- Shimmer of Hope
  2. NYX Butter Gloss- Tiramisu
  3. Too Face Melted Lipstick- Melted Sugar
  1. Annabelle Lipliner in Buff
  2. Gerard Cosmetic Lipglosss- Shimmer of Hope
  3. NYX Butter Gloss- Tiramisu
  4. Too Face Melted Lipstick- Melted Sugar
Lipsticks
  1. Maybelline Color Sensational The Buffs (920 Nude Lust)
  2. MAC-Snob
  3. Gerard Cosmetics Lipstick- Buttercup
  4. Urban Decay Vice Lipstick- Nude (Satin Finish, creamy, nude-pink)
  1. Annabelle Lipliner in Buff
  2. Maybelline Color Sensational The Buffs (920 Nude Lust)
  3. MAC- Snob
  4. Gerard Cosmetics Lipstick- Buttercup
  5. Urban Decay Vice Lipstick- Nude (Satin Finish. Creamy, nude-pink)

Review Products

Hey Beauties,

Welcome back to another Review Post, in this one I really enjoyed 2 out of the 3 products. I give you my honest opinion on every single product. Obviously everyone has their own opinions and preferences but here are mine. Enjoy! :)

Kiesque LIQUID PALISADE Easy-Peel Polish Barrier (17$)

This has to be the best product that has ever been invented, especially if your a nail lover like me and paint your nails constantly. This little liquid bottle has changed my life lol Your probably sitting there wondering what is it, tell us already. This little product helps with not getting polish onto your cuticles or skin.

I was at Sephora (my second home) and I was in line to pay, I was really happy because I didn't go overboard I just bought what i came for. But Sephora likes to add to your budget by adding small products around the waiting line that drag you in to add to your bag. But for once this item was actually useful and I should of bought another because it is small.

I've never heard about this brand I just really like the packaging and what it does and for $17 I was like why not sounds cool. It gives you step by step instructions and its super easy to follow and apply. I tried it on my left hand and I was amazed, then I tried it on my right hand which is the hand that always gets a bit messy but this time no mess at all.

I went online to purchase another bottle and it was sold out I'm guessing its a good-seller. They also sell one for the perfect French Manicure which sounds cool as well. The only few things I have to complain is that it only comes in one size 0.08oz which is pretty small. Also I find the liquid gets a bit tacky in the bottle so you have to clean it or it won't close well. But other than that I really recommend you trying it especially if you love doing your own nails or don't want to spend soo much money to do them professionally.

Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter (Honeysuckle Vanilla, Tropical orchid) (15$ each)

I was in the Josie Maran isle because I really love her products. I was searching for a hand cream for dry hands because with this new job I got my hands tend to get all dry and nasty looking. I saw these cute tubs of cream in all sorts of scents which read "Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter". Anything with Argan oil I absolutely love and my skin loves it also. They had the full size tubs which were C$43 for 8oz and C15$ for Travel size 2oz. I wanted to try 2 different ones so I went with the Travel size ones which cost me the same amount as a full tub. I decided to get Honeysuckle Vanilla and Tropical orchid because I really love those scents. My hands feel soo nourish and moisturized. The cream is thick so a bit goes a long way I find.

Clinique Face and Eyes Wipes (17$)

I was in need of some good makeup wipes and usually when I purchase a product I do some research ahead of time, but apparently this time I didn't. I was at Sephora and since I was in need of wipes I decided to grab the ones that caught my eyes. I figured Clinique is a good brand well known and I've tried their products before and loved them.

I started using them and I felt they aren't as wet as other wipes are. I found the wipes were too dry. I made sure to close the packaging well after I used it. I find 1 wipe isn't enough to take away all my makeup I need at least 2 especially if I wear heavy eye makeup. That's the biggest complaint I would say I have with this product. I really like the scent its not too strong which I really like and also it doesn't leave the skin oily. For 50 wipes its C$17 which would be good if the towelettes had more wetness to them. I think I may stick to my drugstore brand face wipes, I never really had an issue with those. The only reason I bought them is because they were right in front of me and I needed some and Clinique is a good brand. I'm going to finish this package and then purchase one of my drugstore ones.

Products Review! Benefit "Puff off", Too Faced Mascara and Living Proof Mask

Hey Beauties,

It's been a long time but I'm back finally and I have a few more posts in mind to write about, hopefully I stick to the plan and write them.

So let's get onto the blog.

As you can see from the title I'll be reviewing 3 beauty products. In the past I reviewed more than 3 items, and I found it got too much to write about that sometimes the post just became a draft. So I decided 3 products is the right amount to review.

First item is the Benefit "Puff off!"I've been testing this product on and off since November 2015. I found it helped a bit because I stopped using it for a few weeks and I saw the difference. What caught my eye about the product is the packaging its soo cute as well as the applicator. I really enjoy the cooling sensation when you apply it under your eyes. Its like back in the day when we used frozen spoons to d-puff our eyes. The only difference now is it lasts more than a few hours and you don't look strange walking around with frozen spoons on your eyes.

The way I apply it is I start with my face primer it could either be a spray or liquid whatever I'm feeling that day. Then I add the "Puff off!" and leave it as is for 5 min before dabbing it into my skin. Then I add my concealer and foundation and the rest of my makeup and I end it with a finishing spray to set everything in.

The only complaint I have is I had a hard time opening it. I don't know if its just me but I had to really pull hard on the cap to open it. And if I squeezed too much while trying to open it some of the product would come out.

I bought mine at Sephora it was a bit pricey C$38 for 0.34 oz. Like I said I bought mine back in November and I still have tons of product left. But that's also the fact I don't use it everyday maybe if I did I would be on my second tube not sure.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm not great at applying false lashes but I really love the effects they give your eyes big and  bold I wanted a mascara that would give me the same effect. I came across the Too Faced "Better than False Lashes Extreme!" after hearing tons of mixed reviews on it I wanted to try it for myself. So after purchasing it I gave it a shot. Now if you've never tried lash primer before you may get a little worried because our eyelashes are white. The mascara comes with a primer and the actual mascara. The primer is small white fibers that attach to your lashes and once you apply them you look like you have some kind of disease lol. Don't get scared it gets covered by mascara. It's very simple the box tells you step by step and must I say the packaging is cute but sexy at the same time.

My first impression I would have to say was pretty good I saw results after one coat of mascara. You're supposed to add some mascara so the fibers can attach to them, then apply the fibers and then add more mascara. They suggest you do one eye at a time so the mascara doesn't dry up while you do the other eye.

The final results my eyelashes were big and bold, I could tell a big difference. They looked much fuller and longer which is what I was heading for.

What I didn't like is the removing process, I lost some lashes while I was taking off the mascara. I think it's because there's soo many layers it's harder to remove the product and I find I had to put a bit more pressure to remove everything which caused me to lose some of my precious lashes. But wearing lashes you also can lose a few of your original ones so it's up to you.

I'm going to continue to use this mascara but only for special events I find it's too much for my lashes to handle everyday. I bought mine at Sephora it was $46, YES! that is crazy amount for mascara, but I'm a crazy girl who loves makeup lol.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The last product which I'm still testing out as well as other products from "Living Proof" but those products will be reviewed in another blog post.

The last product is for the hair and this is something I'm still debating on. I've been searching for a hair mask for my dry and itchy scalp. I did a bit of research and found "Living Proof." After reading all this great stuff about the "Restore Mask Treatment" I had to try it myself. It says its suppose to bring back your virgin hair from all the damage and dryness its been through. Not only will your hair be restored but it will be protected from further damage.

I purchased the small tub which is 1 oz and it cost me C$16. I wanted to try it a few times before actually paying full amount for the big tub. I found for the small tube I was able to use it for 3-4 times depending how long your hair is. It says to use it from roots to ends and leave in for 5 min before rinsing.

I found my hair soft and shiny after the first time trying it. I really like the smell it's not too strong. I decided to use it once a week but you can use it up to twice a week depending how dry your scalp is. After finishing the small tub I went with 2 weeks without using it and I saw a difference and I knew I had to purchase the big tub. I bought mine at Sephora and yes it is pricey but it did wonders to my hair so that's all that counts. The 8 oz cost C$55 and its a pretty big tub I think I can have about 2-3 months of product depending how much I use.

I really enjoyed the hair mask that I decided to try and test out other hair products from "Living Proof. They will be featured in an upcoming blog post including some face products that I'm testing out as well.

Till then take care <3

Naturebox, JustFab & Gerard Cosmetics Review!

Hey Beauties,

This post will be my thoughts and review on the Naturebox and JustFab subscription boxes as well as some products from Gerard Cosmeics.

So if you don't know what Naturebox is its a company that you can subscribe to and receive 3 or 5 bags of yummy snacks. You can decide if you want to receive 3 bags which is a low price of $13.95 or 5 bags which is $19.95. I think both plans are great deals because you are getting full size bags with generous amount of snacks packaged inside. Once you decide what plan you want you can decide how often you want to receive them and then comes the fun and kind of hard part its picking your snacks. There's soo many different snacks from granola, nuts, chips all sorts that's the hard part it's choosing what to get first. Once you set your order you have a month or as many days to change your snacks or add something till it's ready to be shipped. You also have the option to ship it right away if your in a hurry to get it.

In my first purchase I got: Honey Macadamia Pretzel Pops, Simply Smoky Nut Mix and Pumpkin Spice Nom Noms. I was very pleased with everything especially the Pumpkin Spice Nom Noms those were my favorite. In my second order I received Lemon Almond Biscotti Bites, Mini Cocoa Belgian Waffles and Apple Pie Oat Clusters. I couldn't wait to get this box because I was eyeing the Lemon biscottis for soo long. All three bags were amazing and I can't stop snacking on them I may re-purchase the biscottis again cause they are too good. The Belgian waffles in cocoa are soo good, if you love chocolate you need to try these, they also have regular ones which I may try next. The last ones are the Apple Clusters they taste exactly as if you were eating an apple crumble care but in bite size. I'm not sure what I'll buy on my next order I have about 12 days to figure it out or then I won't buy anything.

JustFab is another company I've subscribed to and I really like it because if I don't want to buy anything that month I can skip it. They have a wide range of different styles which I like. One thing I found that I was impressed is their shoe sizes are true to size which is amazing. I barely buy shoes online because I have a small foot and it's hard sometimes to choose either 5.5 or 6. I've bought 2 pairs of 5.5 shoes and 1 pair of 6 boots and they all fir perfectly.

As for the clothing being true to size not all the tops are. I'm a small but this one top I chose seemed to be much larger so I gave it to my mom. The pants/jeans seem to fit to size which I was glad to see and they fit very well.

The only thing is if you want something you should grab it as soon as you can because a lot of their popular items go quickly especially if your a small. I really enjoy when they have promos or when they have sales especially on items I've been holding on in my "favorites".  You should definitely take advantage of those sales they are definitely worth it.

My next review is on the Gerard Cosmetics and I'm happy I waited this long to post it because one of my product was defected and I'm not sure if it was just mine but it's something to look out for.

The product that was defected was a Lipgloss it was 1 of 2 Lipglosses and just one was not good. The first time I used it was perfectly fine then the second time that's when it started dripping. I took pictures of it and sent them to the company and they were really nice enough to send me a new one.

What I really like about the company is they have bundles and lots of sale items. I really like the bundles because for a decent price you get to try different lip products and colors. As well the gold packaging is gorgeous I absolutely love it.

So because this was my first time trying this company I wanted to try out a few products but also not to spend a lot. What I like about Gerard is they have lots of sale items as well as many bundles, which is perfect if you want to try many products but don't want to spend a ton.

I decided to get the GC Lip Trio which is still available for 36$ which is a great deal, since the Lipgloss alone is 24$. Also before I forget all 3 items are the full size products there's no sample size. So this Trio included a Liquid Lipstick, LipGloss and a Lipstick and the best part was you can choose the colors you want. So not only do you get a great deal but you also get to choose what colors you get which is awesome.

Back to what I was saying about one of the products being defected it was the Lipgloss. so i'm waiting on that to come in hopefully that doesn't break on me also. But besides the defected product I really enjoy these products and they look soo luxurious on my vanity. I love how the gold packaging looks as if they are super high end products but in reality they are less than my YSL lipsticks sitting next to them which I hardly use.

Beauty Haul/Review

Hey Beauties,

I took a recent short trip to the beautiful USA and bought a few beauty items that I decided to do a haul and review.

I absolutely love going to WalMart and Target when I'm in the states because they have better prices and soo many more brands.

My #1 mission was to buy the Suave shampoo because we don't have it where I live and it smells like heaven. Suave has a lot of different types of shampoos and smells but I went with the Moroccan Infusion Color Care. I find after using this shampoo not only does my hair smell good for days but it feels soo soft and silky without even using conditioner. Most shampoos I have to use conditioner to get that silky smooth effect at my ends. I purchased the big bottle and its lasted me for almost 2 months and I wash my hair every 2-3 days. Also what I like about this shampoo its very affordable which is a huge plus. On my next trip I'll be purchasing a few to stock up before winter lol.

The next thing I was looking for is a new razor. I personally love anything with cute packaging and the Schick Intuition Razor Kit caught my eye. The blade came in this cute peach color with music notes on it. I realized after I bought it that it was a limited edition blade cause it was for the Pitch Perfect 2 movie release. The one I got was in Tropical Citrus which smells unbelievably good. The kit comes with 2 cartridges and I bought another pack of 4 of Coconut milk and Almond oil.

I found that I was able to use 1 blade for about 3-4 shaves and then the soap gets too thin on the bottom blade. I think you can still use it for another 2 more shaves but I decided to change it I'll prob keep it longer this time. I'm definitely going to continue using this and going to purchase more blades either if I find some here or in the States.

The last thing I was looking for was makeup wipes because I was out and I needed some. When it comes to removing makeup or cleansing my face I really like using natural products. I decided to try Pacifica for one cause I absolutely love their packaging its one brand that stands out. I bought the one with Coconut milk infused inside the wipes. After using them a few times my face is more softer and less dry. I found they were a bit more pricier than the Maybelline ones I buy but since they are more organic I don't mind giving the extra $2 if its better for my skin.

Some other products I picked up that caught my eye was a few nail polishes and lip products. I always wanted to try the Sally Hansen Gel Polishes so I decided to give it a shot. The Target I went to only had 4 colors to choose from so I bought Malibu Peach because I didn't have a cute peach color in my collection. The concept of not having to use a light to keep the gel polish intrigued me because I didn't want to spend a lot of money to have it done at a salon. I did exactly what it said on the box but after 2 days I found it was chipping a bit. I really like the color though so I will just apply the polish but not the gel part.

The other nail polish I bought was from Essie in Play Date. I really liked the shade of purple and I want to expand my nail polish collection.

The next items are lip products 2 from NYX and 2 from Revlon.

NYX: Butter Gloss: 02 Eclair
NYX Lip Gloss: 164 Nude Pink

Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer 520 Pink Sapphire
Revlon Lip Butter 050 Berry Smoothie

I really love the NYX butter Glosses so whenever I find them I buy at least 1 or 2. Not only do they smell delicious they actually give a nice color when applied alone. I usually apply them on top of a nude lipstick or another lipstick that matches the lip gloss. Also they apply soo smoothly and do feel like butter on your lips.

It's my first time trying the Lip Gloss, this one has a more candy scent unlike the other one which smells more like cake batter and sweet. I really like soft pink nude colors those are the colors I tend to wear more so I decided I needed this in my collection.

Revlon is another brand that I tend to buy lip products from because of the cute packaging and also the colors they offer. The lip butters are my favorite I don't have many because its hard to find the colors I like in stores. I don't wear reds so I decided to buy a red but its more of a berry color. You can build the intensity buy applying it as many times as you want. I like applying it once or twice and then either I leave it like that or apply a nude gloss over it if I find its too much. As for the Lip Gloss in Pink Sapphire I just really liked the color and just bought it like that.

Well that is all for now I hope you all enjoyed this Haul and Review till next time :)

Target Beauty Sale Haul

Hey Beauties,

If you haven't heard or don't live in Canada then you missed the big announcement that Target is leaving us in less than a month or so. I personally love shopping at Target in the US because they have great prices and a lot of different brands in either clothing or my favorite section Beauty products :) The Target in Canada was nothing compared to the US so I was disappointed from the start none the less when they announced there big sale I rushed to pick up some goodies.

All these items I bought were 30% off the originally price its not a lot but when it adds up I saw a difference. If you live in Canada and you have a Target you should stop by and check for these specials. As the weeks go by the sales are going to get higher from 30% to 50% and more so hurry up it's your chance to save some money.

I will definitely be Reviewing all or some of these products so be a lookout on that post soon. I hope you enjoy my haul and  and as always check out the following links for more beauty/fashion inspiration :)

Sephora Haul

Hey Beauties,

I hope everyone had an Amazing Holiday and wishing everyone a very Happy New Year!!

So as you can tell from the title this post is on my Sephora Haul that I recently got. I received a lot of Sephora gift cards since my birthday and I haven't had a chance to use them till a week ago. I had a good amount of money to spend but I wanted to spend it wisely since this was my chance to buy items I didn't want to spend with my money. It was hard for a week I was looking through the entire site and marking down what I wanted to try and reading up on reviews and I believe I made a good choice.

Tarte Amazonian clay full coverage Foundation in Fair-Light honey

Looking for a new foundation is always hard because they're so many out there that do the same thing but have different prices or have an extra benefit. I'm still using my Makeup Forever HD foundation for those days I want a full coverage face, but if not I use my BB Creams. So I'm probably on my second bottle of Makeup Forever foundation and I decided to try something new. I had the gift card so I was able to buy something I wouldn't purchase with my own money right away.

I really love Tarte because its eco-friendly. They use ingredients that are good for you and don't contain Parabens and other ingredients that most other foundations contain which could cause breakouts.

I love that its lightweight and a little goes a long way you don't need much. I absolutely love how it blends into my skin so well and its perfect for any skin type.

The price is a bit pricey $49 but its the same price as the Makeup Forever one and lately I've been loving the Tarte one better. I really think I'll be re-purchasing this one but we will see when I'm done using it and if I find a new foundation to try.

LaVanilla Deodorant

When it comes to cleansers, creams and deodorants I'm trying to find more organic natural products. I've been always using "The Lady Speed Stick" from the drugstore and it was good but I wanted a change and go natural. I watched a video from April she's a beauty guru on Youtube if you don't know her already I'll link her channel below she's amazing. Her favorite natural deodorant is the LaVanilla and I think she only uses this one. My Sephora only had the travel size one and it was the last one for only $13 so I grabbed it because I wanted to give it a try. I've been trying it now for a week and I'm not totally in love with it. I really do love the way it smells but throughout the day I feel like it stops working and I have to re-apply it. I want a deodorant that will last all day but this one does not for me not sure if its just me but I don't think I will be re-purchasing it,

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer

I was in search of a new bronzer and I originally wanted the Benefit "Hoola" bronzer but the Sephora I went to was out of stock. I could of gone to another one but I was there and I wanted a bronzer so one of the girls told me "Chocolate Soleil" is a dupe for it. Also another good thing about this one it smelled liek chocolate which is a plus lol. It applies so nice I absolutely love it and it smells soo good.

Sephora Instant Glitter Nail Polish Remover

This product was kind of an extra buy I saw it there and it looked interesting a remover for glitter nails. Now I'm the type of girl who LOVES glitter the more the better but when its time to remove them its not a fun game. I actually tried it at the store and I was surprised it actually worked and I had to have it. The Sephora I went to only had 2 left so I bough both one for me and for my BFF since it was her Birthday and she needed this in her life.

All you have to do is dip your nails inside the bottle and rub it against the harder side of the foam it will help take out the glitter. It took me about 10 min to do both hands while it takes double the time and frustration with regular nail polish.

NARS lipgloss in Turkish Delight

This is a product I've been dying to have to in my collection and I finally got the chance to buy it. The price for this is crazy $31 its insane but since I had the gift cards I said why not. If you don't already know its the lipgloss that Kim Kardashian is known of wearing when she's wearing a nude pink lip. This is my first Nars product and I'm happy it was this I love it. I pair it with my "Snob" lipstick from MAC to tone down the pink.

Sephora Eye Pencil in 06 Blonde Ambition

I bought this to use on my waterline instead of using a white eyeliner and it has some shimmer which I love. I can also be used as a highlighter under your eyebrow if you don't have one on hand.

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara

This was the first thing I grabbed when I walked into the store because I knew I had to have this since I already tried it. I recently got a sample size one in my Ipsy bag and I can't stop using it I already did a review on it I'll link it below.

Urban Decay "Perversion" Mascara

I received a mini version of this in my August Ipsy bag but I never had the chance to try it because I already was using 2 other mascaras. I started using "Perversion about a month and let me just say OMG its the best mascara ever!! I personally don't really like putting on falsies but this mascara gives the illusion that you have some on. My lashes look fuller, bolder and soo much more out there if you know what I mean. I absolutely love the results it gives me and I'm definitely going to be buying the full size on my next shopping trip to Sephora.

Rimmel "Stay Matte" Foundation

I was in search for a new drugstore foundation and I decided to pick up this one from Rimmel because it was a Matte foundation which I liked. I also picked it up because the packaging was really cute and I'm a sucker for cute packaging.

At first I started using the product by it self and a bit goes a long way you don't need much because it has a thick texture. I found using my fingers or a flat top brush worked better then anything else. After a few hours I found my face getting dry and kind of looked cakey which was not attractive at all.

After a few tries of using the product alone I mixed a bit of my 'Maybelline BB Cream" which made the foundation a bit more liquid. I also found after adding the BB Cream to the foundation it matched my skin tone better and also gave me a bit of color since I'm kind of pale.

I personally won't be re-purchasing this foundation even though I like the result after mixing it with the BBCream it's too much work. I'm still in search of a good drugstore foundation until then I have my BB Creams and My Makeup Forever Foundation which I've done reviews on both products.

"Deep Clean" makeup wipes

I ran out of my favorite makeup wipes from Maybelline and was in need for some makeup wipes and all I could find at the drugstore were these "Deep Clean" from Clean and Clear. When I opened the packaging that night to use one it smelled too alcoholic which I didn't like at all especially on my face. Also I found it irritated my eyes, which doesn't happen with other makeup wipes. They do remove all my makeup but then I have to wash my face afterwards to take out the alcoholic smell. Also I have to use another makeup remover for my eyes since these irritate them. I wouldn't repurchase these again since it takes a lot of work. I personally don't find it's worth it especially at night when I just want to take out my makeup with one product and go to bed.

Beauty Blender

So I'm kind of late on owning this incredible invention it's absolutely amazing. I don't know why it took me so long to buy one but I finally picked one up from my Sephora. I love using it instead of my brushes because it gives you such a flawless, glowy finish. I also love it cause you don't waste soo much product as you would with a makeup brush.

I haven't bought the soap/cleanser but using warm water and a bit of soap you can clean your sponge the same way. If you haven't tried it yet you need to pick one up you won't regret it I promise you.

July Ipsy Bag 2014 "Sensationally Sunkissed"

This month's picks were interesting and I had fun trying them out. I will list all the products below with some description of each and my review for each.

Eyesahdow 2.0 by BareMinerals
-I love the colors that were given to me I find they go well with my skin tone and eye color.

BBCream SPF 25 in Light by dermae
-I find because it only comes in Light that a lot of people would have trouble trying out this product. For me it blended very well with my skin tone, I only used it once because I still enjoy using my Maybelline BB Creams.

Tinted Lip Balm in Unique Pink by Pixi Beauty
-I really like this lip balm it has a minty flavor to it which I really like. The packaging is really cute I love Pixi's packaging. From the tube it doesn't look like it will give you any color but when applied to the lips you get a hint of color with a shiny effect which I really like. I find its a perfect lip balm for on the go, it gives you a bit of color and hydrates your lips as well.

Sunkissed Bronzer by POP Beauty
-I didn't think I would like this Bronzer but after playing around with it a bit I came to love it. It's a bit dark so a little goes a long way I find for my skin tone. It has small specs of glitter which is beautiful when the light shines on you. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who's looking for a good cheap bronzer.

Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 by Pur-lisse
-I'm someone who loves cute packaging and when a product looks plain and boring I'm not interested in trying it.

August  Ipsy Bag 2014 "Beauty Schooled"

I wasn't crazy about a lot of the items this month, I enjoyed 2 out of 5 of the products.

Lip Conditioner by Jersey Shore Sun
-When it comes to lip balm I always go for something more natural and organic which this lip balm is known for. It has a hint of citrus smell which I love and is super soft on the lips perfect for those chapped lips.

Mongongo oil is the main ingredient in this moisturizing lip balm. The oil is made from a fruit which hydrates, regenerates and protects from UV.

Mascara in Perversion by Urban Decay
-I heard lots of good reviews on this mascara and I couldn't wait to try it when I saw it in my bag. I think it was the only thing I was looking forward to receiving this month. Perversion gives your lashes a more bolder and bigger look. The ultra black color gives you that sexy look with just one stroke.

Blush in Fresh & Elegant by Coastal Scents (sample)
-I wasn't crazy about the packaging, even thought it was a sample it could of been a bit nicer. I wasn't crazy about the colors and I don't wear blush often so I didn't really care for this product.

Eye Pencil by Lord & Berry
-I've tried a lot of black eyeliners and I wasn't crazy about this one. I prefer more glide on pencils or liquid, but when applying this one I had add some pressure.

Face Lotion by StriVectin (anti aging)
-This product I was really disappointed because it was for anti-aging skin and I personally don't need it right now. I actually passed it on to my mom who will appreciate it and use it more than I will.

September Ipsy Bag 2014 "Street Style"

Shadow Crease brush by Crown Brush

Lipstick in Cabernet by Hikari

Waterproof Eye pencil in Fringe by Pacifica

Deep Conditioning Mask by Briogeo
-I really loved this product, I would definitely buy the full size once I'm done with this one.

Face lotion 3-in-1 by LeeAnni Eco
-I didn't try this a lot maybe just once so I can't really review it that much but I saw a slight difference under my eyes. Its a Toner, Serum and Moisturizer all in one
