Clinique 3-step Skin Care Review!

Hey Beauties,

So I don't know about you guys but I always get little samples from when I buy stuff at Sephora most of the time they aren't the greatest stuff. A few weeks ago I got a small sample kit from Clinique to try the 3-step Skin Care products. I've always wanted to try them after hearing soo many good reviews and watching a lot of YouTube gurus trying the products and loved it.

What I also love about these products is that depending on what type of skin you have there's certain kits just for that type. My skin type is type 3 "Combination skin". To find out what your skin type is at Clinique's website

After I tried the samples I absolutely loved it and had to buy the full size kit. I've been trying them for about 2 weeks and I've seen some difference in my skin.

If you buy it at a Sephora they have many kits for different skin types for example: acne prone, redness or even combination skin like I have. They also sell sample kits as well so you can try and test them out before buying the full sizes. Or if you get lucky like me and get them as a sample after purchasing something.

What the kit includes:
  • Liquif Facial Soap 6.76 oz (C$17)
  • Clarifying Lotion Type 3 6.76 oz (C$17)
  • Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel 1.69 oz (C$20)

Findings while using it:

I found you just need a dot of the facial soap not much a little goes a long way.

I found because I have some redness near my nose area after using the clarifying lotion the redness showed more I don't know if that's normal. I didn't find any burning sensation so that was good but after a few seconds the redness goes down. It has a alcoholic smell its kind of strong so I try not to put it close to my eye area. I usually just concentrate on my T-zone that's the most important  for me.

The moisturizing gel is great as well just like the facial soap a little goes a long way. I dot a bit all over my face and then rub it in.

Results after using it:

I find in the morning my face feels super soft and hydrated. I fine I don't even need to put on primer before applying my foundation which is rare for me because if I don't apply primer the foundation doesn't apply well.

I hope this helped some of you that are in the market for skin care products.
