This month I absolutely loved every single product I got. I received 5 amazing products and 2 of them I couldn't wait to try when I saw I would be getting them. I like how Ipsy has about 10 items and then 5 are picked that are suited for each customer or place they live. I know in the US they received the opposite of mine.

So let’s get into this month’s Ipsy Bag:

First reaction was the bag was really heavy and bulky which I was happy about because I knew they had bulky items. The second was the bag itself was really cute I really like the quote on the front. “Love of beauty is taste. The creation of beauty is art.”

The first item I got was “be Delectable” from Cake Beauty in Strawberry Cream. I like the packaging its really cute and girly. The smell is just like the scent says Strawberry Cream which reminds me of the Campino candy and it’s very moisturizing.

Ipsy always adds something from Big Sexy Hair so I’ve tried a few products from the brand but this one was a Blow Dry Volumizing Gel. I don’t really Blow Dry my hair I like air drying my hair but I want to try it and see if it gives me some volume. I know the other products I tried like the hairspray, the powder and the texturizing spray work amazingly so I’m sure this does also. 

I’m always looking for new moisturizers to use on my face so I was happy to get one from H2o + face OASIS Hydrating treatment. It’s a gel form that feels cool to the touch which I can’t wait to try.

The last 2 items I couldn’t wait to try the first was the ZoyaNail Polish in Mason I actually wanted the Neve one it’s a dark purple/blue color but I’ll just purchase it myself. So Mason is a nice dark pink/purple color with some gold shimmer inside its gorgeous. It’s actually part of the Fall collection which includes Neve and Giovanna a teal green.

The last product was my favorite to try it was the BuxomLips in Dolly. I absolutely couldn't wait to try it because it was plumper plus a gloss which is amazing. I absolutely loved the color.

Beauty Products:

I picked up some beauty products from a recent trip to Target. Let me just say when I'm looking to buy any beauty products I love Target. I find they have all sorts of brands at a reasonable price.

As I said last month I'm in love with Maybelline BB Cream in Light-Medium and Medium. I bought both because I like mixing them together to give me a flawless look. I definitely been using my BB cream instead of my foundation.

Nail Polish: OPI Got the Blues from Red and Malaga Wine

Lipsticks: Rimmel in Airy Fairy 070 (a creamy pink nude, most lipsticks have a weird smell but this one smells soo good. It has a very natural look to which I really like.

"Classic Beauty"

This month I was actually pleased with all the products I really enjoyed all the products.  I used all the products except for the masks.

When I saw the products that were being sent this month I saw that they were giving facial masks and they had 3 different kinds. I thought they would give just one but they gave us 3 different ones which I was thrilled. The brand is Freeman and they are Paper Masks with 3 different types: Brightening in Rose, Hydrating in Blue Agave and Purifying in Star fruit. I can’t wait to try them and do a review on them so stay tune for that.

The next one was an eyeshadow from NYX in Cryptonite its a gorgeous black charcoal with hints of silver sparkles.

The next item was a mascara as I said in last month’s Ipsy Bag I’m not crazy about the mascaras.

The next 2 items were great products as well a black full size eyeliner from StarLooks and a lipstick from J.Cats.

The eyeliner is great you can’t go wrong with black eyeliner everyone needs one and it actually goes on smoothly unlike other eye pencils. 

The lipstick was in the color Honeycrisp itis a very pale creamy nude. I read some reviews and some people liked it and some didn’t. Some people said it wasn’t a nice color others said their product broke and others loved it. I loved it they usually send us bright colors which are not really my favorite I go for more nudes. So when I saw this product I was soo happy and it goes on smoothly and I top it off with a pink gloss.

As an extra item Michelle Phan creator of Ipsy sent a sample of her new makeup palette called "em".

So to start off a lot of these products have been mentioned in my last post of my US Haul. I tried a lot of the products so they will either be included in my Faves pile or Oh No! pile. I also included other random faves as usual so keep on reading to find out more. 

Beauty Products

As I mentioned in my other post it was the first time trying Maybelline's BB Cream and I love it. I actually purchased two different colors that I like to mix together. I bought Light/Medium and Medium I don't need to cover a lot but it gives me an even look by not layering heavy foundation. It's perfect for those hot days because it's not heavy and your skin can still breathe.

 In love with Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in "Cotton Candy", it's a perfect color of pink. Babylips have been my fave as well if you haven't already checked them out you should :)

My favorite Nail polish for the past 2 months has been "Mod About You" from OPI.

Eye shadows: I've been loving the BH Cosmetics California Collection I received it in the July Ipsy Bag.

I've also been loving Maybelline color tattoo in Pink Gold I love anything Rose Gold and this shadow is the perfect rose gold shade. Just applying a bit makes your eyes pop and looks natural which I like. You can also apply shadows on top to intensify the look.

"Glamour Academy"

This month I found the products were good but they could of been better. Every few months they have about 10 different products and then 5 items are chosen depending on the quiz you did when you signed up. You can re-take the quiz to change the items you get every month. For example if you don’t like the nail brand they give don’t add nail items to your list.

The first item which I was happy to see was a Pumpkin face mask, I think they were preparing us for the autumn season lol. It’s from Michael Todd an Organic brand visit their website to see what other products are sold.  http://www.michaeltoddtrueorganics.com/

If you don’t like Pumpkin you won’t like this product becasue it has a strong scent. I love this scent and it feels great on the skin. It has a orange color and it tingles a bit that means its working. It says because of the Glycolic Acid some people may get irritated to it if so wash it off.  I suggest you use it before you go to bed becasue after washing your face off it gives your face an orange tint. It doesn’t show but you can tell especially if your pale like me.

The next product is the NYX Blush/Bronzer Powder, I really like it gives a nice color and it feels like on the skin.

The next was a lip balm which I like its from Noya and its a Natural product which I like. It was a Cherry flavor I think it was the only flavor it came in.

The next 2 items wasn’t that thrilled the first was a Lash Booster Mascara from Pixi and the second was a Cheek Stain from City Color. If you don’t know the brand Pixi its quit pricey and I’m thrilled to get products from them but I’m tired of getting mascara samples I don’t find they work well. This one says Lash Booster I don’t really see any boost. I never heard of City Color I’m sure its a good brand but I’m not crazy about cheek stains. I don’t wear blush I usually just wear bronzer and if I do wear blush I wouldn’t wear this color. This color which is called “Pink” is too bright for me.

So I recently took a trip to the beautiful USA and picked up a few beauty products as well as a few fashion pieces as well. I absolutely love buying beauty products in the US because they have much more brands and at a cheaper price then where I live.

I tried a few products on my trip which I will do a review on in this post but the rest will either end up on my Favorites or Oh No’s of the month of August.

Most of the products I bought were ones I watched on some of the beauty guru’s videos on YouTube. I really love watching Hauls because it helps me research the products and buy them. Most of these products have been talked about all over in the Beauty Community but I never got a chance to try them.

To start off I will start with some face products.

The first product on my list to try was the BB Cream from Maybelline, this product has been reviewed a lot but I haven’t had a chance to try it out because it was too expensive. I bought Light/Medium and Medium Tint. I accidentally bought 2 different ones but I think they will both work because I can mix them together. I used the Medium Tint and  I love it, it’s very light and doesn’t give that much of a tint but still looks like your face is flawless. I don’t have perfect skin but it’s pretty clear so I don’t need much coverage. I love haw it gives you a dewy finish I personally like that, but I don’t like the smell it’s not bad but it does have a bit of a smell.  Overall love this product and I will definitely use this everyday instead of my Make Up Forever HD Foundation. The Foundation is pricey so I don’t want to waste it on a casual day to the mall. I will definitely re-purchase this product.

The next two products are from Hard Candy, the first one is a re-purchase it’s the Face Primer. I really love this face primer; it’s really light and a little goes a long way. The second product is the Glamoflauge heavy duty concealer in 488 Medium Light. The first one I bought was Light, I figured I’m light skin it will be perfect for my skin but it was way light, I looked like a ghost :p So I went to change it and got the Medium Light the color above, I tried a bit and it’s perfect. This product is a dupe of Kat Von D concealer so I heard, I haven’t tried the Kat Von D one but it is pricier.  This concealer gives such a good coverage and a little goes a long way, it’s going to last me for a very long time.

The next item is the 24 hour color tattoo from Maybelline in Inked in Pink. I have two other colors but I love rose gold and this is perfect.

The next few items are just re-purchases from e.l.f cosmetics I really love this brand because they are cheap and really good. I bought two the Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara, the eyebrow kit in Medium and the eyelash curler because I needed a new one.

To continue with face products I bought some makeup wipes the first ones I already purchased before they are the Maybelline Clean Express Wipes oil free. The others are from the brand Yes to I really love using natural products for my face because I have sensitive skin. I usually buy the Say Yes to Cucumbers wipes but they came out with a new one Yes to Grapefruit and they were 2/5$ so I bought them. Another product I bought from Say Yes is the Calming Night Cream in Cucumber because it’s for sensitive skin. I will definitely do a review on this product include others so check back soon.

Lastly is the lip products I only bought three products the first one is the Baby Lips from Maybelline in Cheery Me I love it, I love the smell the tint it gives and as well the packaging is really cute. It’s the first one I got I head soo many good reviews on it so I had to pick one up.

The next one is the Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Cotton Candy, I really love their lip butters and I had a list of colors but this is the only one I could find.

The last is lip gloss from VS in Mocktail Hour absolutely love the scent and the color.

The next items are nail products I won’t go in detail because I will do a review of each but I picked up a nail polish from Sally’s from China Glaze in All A Flutter I think it’s part of the new collection not sure. I also picked up a crystal nail file I really love these kind of nail files.

The next two items I have been eyeing for a very long time and I finally got a chance to pick them up. I found the nail stamp at Sally’s it came with the stamp and 5 plates of different designs.

Next item which I was soo excited to pick up and got a good deal. It’s the Sally Hanson Salon Insta Gel Starter strips kit. The kit came with an extra box of nail strips of my choice so I picked up the Perfect Poison one and inside of the kit it comes with Shell We Dance. I cannot wait to try it out and do a review for you guys it will be fun ;)

Beauty/ Fashion Items

My favorite pieces of clothing and shoes right now would have to be my:

Cotton Candy Shorts
I've never worn anything like this and thought it would be cool to try something new. I found them at Le Garage and they had many different colors.

 

Forever 21 has some cute Rompers that I picked up recently

I bought a pair of new sandals from Aldo which I adore and I can't get enough of.

I think right now my favorite stores would have to be Brandy <3 Melville, Forever 21 and Sirens. They have the perfect cute dresses for the summer and tons of other cute items for the hot summer days/nights ahead.

Pacifica Island Vanilla Perfume Roll-On: I got this in my May Ipsy Bag and I absolutely LOVE it. Its a mix of Vanilla, hints of jasmine as well a bit fruity. If you love any of these scents you should try this Perfume it smells as if you gone on a Tropical Island.

I've been looking for a new face mask but I like using natural products for my face so I decided to go with LUSH. If you don't know what LUSH is, its a Natural Beauty shop where sells Freshly Blended products for your face, body, lips and hair care.

I decided to go with Catastrophe Cosmetic the main ingredient is Blueberries which helps with calming redness and its perfect for all skin types. Its the perfect mask when your starting out and you don't know what to choose. If you don't know what kind of products you need if its for your face, body or hair you can ask any of the employees and they will gladly help you. They are the most nicest people ever.

"On The Wild Side"

This month is more on the Wild side as you can tell from the Title. All the products came in this leopard print bag with a bright neon green zipper detail. As for the products and colors chosen I'm a bit worried I won't be able to pull them off but we will see if they make my favorites for June-July. I thnk the only products I really liked were the Eye pencil highlighter and the NYX Blush. I wasn't thrilled with the otehr 3 for 1 I don't really wear eyelashes and 2nd the color chosen for the lip pencil is not a color I would wear.

If I'm feeling wild I may actually wear them lol

As for the cream Eyeshadows I actually swatched them and there's a lot of sparkle that falls out I don't know how it looks on the eyes but so far not liking it. Also it didn't feel to me as cream so not sure what that is all about.

So far I haven't actually tested all the products to the fullest so I can't really say if they are good or not but first impression not liking this months picks. I still LOVE Ipsy and I wouldn't cancel it just because this bag wasn't my fave but I was just not happy with some of my picks.

"Beach Beauty"

I absolutely loved this month picks, I loved all the products and I tried every single one so I could do a review on all the products.

The first product which I've been obsessed with is the “Sexy hair” Beach spray. First off I need to say its such a perfect size to put in your purse or beach bag. The next thing I absolutely love the scent it has such a beachy scent I love it. I also love that it has argon oil which is great and because I have natural wavy hair it gives me a nice beachy look. This is perfect for giving your hair some texture even if your hair isn’t wavy or curly.

The best way to use this product is after you washed your hair and you’ve towel dried your hair. Your hair shouldn’t be completely wet and then spray away and scrunch your hair while you spray. It gives your hair soo much more volume and texture and an amazing beachy smell.

The second product is the “COOLA” Mineral Sunscreen. It’s also a tinted moisturizer and is made with organic ingredients. It has a SPF of 20 and the scent is just like the spray a beachy scent which I love.

I love this product because it gives a light coverage but protects your face from the sun while you’re out in the sun. I like applying a bit of BB cream and then adding this on top. For my skin I don’t need a lot of coverage which I’m thankful for.

Third product which is another favorite of mine is the “bh Cosmetics” California Collection eyeshadows samples. They took 3 main colors from 3 of their new palettes “Hollywood” “San Francisco” “Malibu” and put them into one. I absolutely love the packaging and all 3 colors. I love bh Cosmetics I own some other eyeshadows palettes and the colors are gorgeous. They are soo vibrant and there isn’t a lot of fallout which happens with other eyeshadows.

The fourth item I got was “POP” Pouty pop crayon in “Fuchsia Flirt” I really like the packaging and it’s a great size. At first I didn’t know if I’ll be able to pull it off because I don’t really wear bright lip colors I go for more of the nude pinks and nude colors. The first time I wore it I absolutely loved it, I love the color on me and you can build the color as you go. I like to apply a lip balm before and then add this and apply a nude gloss on gloss I think it’s a great combo. I really liked the other colors as well they were more nude and pink but it’s nice to try something different.

You can also just wear it alone to give you a hint of color to your lips while you’re at the beach or sitting by the pool.

The last product I was kind of disappointed not with the product itself but the color. I got “Nailtini” in Mai Tai, it’s an orange nail polish. I really love the brand I’ve gotten 2 others in the past and loved the colors but I’m not a fan of orange. The bottle is full sized which is amazing and the brand name is really cute. For me personally orange doesn’t look good on me so I’ll probably give this to a friend

Hey Beauties, today's post is all about Bath & Body Works products that I recently purchased.

I don't know about you but when I'm looking to buy candles I go straight to Bath & Body Works I absolutely love it there. I recently went and bought a few things and decided to do a post on my items and a review on some products I bought.

So let's start off by candles, there were a few sales on the candles such as 2 for 30$ (3-Wick Candles) and 6 for 15$ (mini candles). So I decided to buy 6 minis for 15$ at least I can try a few different and if I really liked them I would go purchase the bigger ones.

I think I smelled all the candles in the store like literally all lol. Some names sounded soo good but once I smelled them they didn't have a great smell which was disappointing.

So I decided to buy:

• Peach Bellini
• Lavender Vanilla
• Villa Bergamot
• Coconut Leaves
• Limoncello
• Pineapple Mango

There was a sale on other products you buy 3 items you get 2 free that is why I love Bath & Body Works they always have amazing sales. Also if you sign up you get discount coupons that you can use on your next purchase.

My Review

As for the candles I haven't tried them yet but I do hope they smell the same as the tin.

The only product I did try was the Bronze Shimmer Fizz which I thought would give me some color but it really didn't. When you spray it onto your skin it starts fizzing which is cool and after rubbing it onto your skin it leaves a very soft sparkly tint. The smell is good a bit too strong but there's no color just a lot of sparkle. If you go into the sun you will sparkle like Edward in Twilight lol

I wouldn't purchase it again I will just use all of it and put it on top of an actual bronzer so it will give me a shine. But I fine a bit goes a long way because it sparkles a lot. Also I suggest you try them at the store because they do have a strong scent. There are only 3 scents I only tried this one but I heard Capri Seaside Citrus smells really good.

It's also part of the Bella Italian Collection so if you want to try any of the products from that collection you should hurry before they are gone.
